Meet Your Apprentist
Black Girl Beauty Salon, Suite & Training Center provides supervised salon, spa, barbering, nail, esthetics, natural-hair, and beauty services through emerging professionals completing approved apprenticeship training. As the employment and salon-operations hub, we coordinate apprentice work schedules, booking and payment services, client-service experiences, and employment support. Apprentices provide services at approved salons, shops, studios, spas, and training locations in different cities and states.
When booking, please select the correct apprentice and carefully review the service provider's profile for their approved training location, availability, specialties, and contact information.
All services are performed by apprentices—not licensed professionals—under the direction and supervision of appropriately licensed beauty professionals. Student pricing reflects that services are being provided as part of a structured, hands-on training experience.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL SERVICES ARE PERFORMED BY APPRENTICES — NOT LICENSED PROFESSIONALS — AS PART OF THEIR SUPERVISED TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
Important Service and Payment Details
All scheduled apprentice services must be paid in full in advance through our official Vagaro booking system. Payments may not be made directly to the salon, salon owner, mentor, or apprentice. Approved same-day or walk-in services may be paid on-site; however, payment must still be processed through the official Black Girl Beauty School of Careers Vagaro system before the service begins.
Clients may tip their apprentice. Gratuities may be given directly to the apprentice.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
If an appointment is canceled or missed, the payment may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment with the same apprentice. The new appointment must be scheduled based on the apprentice's availability. We kindly ask clients to respect this policy so that we can maintain fair and efficient scheduling for our apprentices and clients.
