The First Black-Owned Online & Hybrid Cosmetology Apprenticeship School in the United States
Black Girl Beauty School of Careers is a cosmetology Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor/Intermediary, offering state-aligned and federally recognized Registered Apprenticeship training at NO-COST to our apprentices. As the first Black-owned online and hybrid cosmetology apprenticeship school in the United States, we deliver structured Related Technical Instruction (RTI) combined with real-world, employer-based training.
Our model bridges education and employment by allowing students to earn while they learn, gain hands-on experience in licensed salon environments, and progress toward state licensure and national apprenticeship recognition.
The school is designed to develop licensed professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders equipped for long-term success in the beauty industry. We specialize in Black hair care and cultural artistry while fostering entrepreneurship and economic opportunity within communities.
We proudly serve individuals from all socioeconomic backgrounds, creating accessible pathways to careers in the beauty industry.
