Black Girl Beauty School of Careers welcomes students who are strong, self-motivated and fast paced learners who desire to learn, grow, beautify and help others. The beauty business is a recession free industry that's wide open, with unlimited opportunities!
Cosmetology is the study of beautification—the practice of providing makeup, skin, nail, and hair services. Cosmetologists study the most recent advances in hair care, skin care, and makeup techniques. They help clients achieve their beauty and styling goals and can assist in maintaining the general health of the skin and hair. Services can include hair cutting, styling, cosmetic applications, and basic skincare treatments. You get it all in one complete package.
At Black Girl Beauty School of Careers we strive to support students through every phase of their education, graduation, and career placement. We offer this course in the traditional setting on campus and the apprenticeship setting with (on-the-job training) under the direction of a licensed mentor. On campus attending our classes and working in our student salon environment, you'll discover exciting future opportunities like working for major beauty companies or becoming a salon owner. Our apprenticeship on-the-job training is an amazing opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals that's been in the industry for over 10 years. Our cosmetology program specializes in "Black Hair Care". You're walking into an industry that helps people look and feel great while building an exclusive clientele business within your own communities.
YOUR LIGHT WILL SHINE BRIGHTER AS YOU MASTER BASIC, CONTEMPORARY AND ADVANCED TECHNIQUES IN COSMETOLOGY. BLACK GIRL BEAUTY SCHOOL'S COMPREHENSIVE COSMETOLOGY PROGRAM WILL TEACH YOU TO:
- Use the latest trends in haircutting, coloring and design for men, women and children
- Master hair texture concepts and create the haircut or style that will please every guest
- Natural hair & braiding
- Provide nail services such as manicures and pedicures, as well as esthetic skin care procedures
- Develop marketing and communication skills to attract loyal salon clients and build your business through positive word of mouth—all while serving guests in your school
