Thank you for your interest in becoming an Employer and Training Partner with Black Girl Beauty School of Careers™.

Our Employer Partnership Program connects qualified salons and licensed beauty professionals with registered apprentices who are preparing for successful careers in the beauty industry. Through this partnership, employers provide structured, paid on-the-job training, professional mentorship, and supervised workplace experience while helping apprentices work toward state licensure and a nationally recognized Registered Apprenticeship credential.

Please begin by watching each video in the Employer Partnership Information Center. The videos explain the partnership process, employer responsibilities, apprentice supervision, workplace requirements, program fees, documentation, payroll and reporting expectations, and the support provided by our team.

Please take your time and watch every video before scheduling a consultation. The consultation is not intended to repeat or review all of the program information presented in the videos. It is designed to answer any remaining questions or concerns you may have and determine whether your salon or organization is prepared to move forward as an approved Employer and Training Partner.

If you decide to move forward, you will be required to submit the applicable partnership fee, requested business and licensing documents, and all required agreements. Your salon, supervising professionals, and proposed training location must be reviewed and approved before an apprentice can be assigned or begin working.

Becoming an Employer and Training Partner is more than providing a place for an apprentice to work. It is a commitment to mentorship, accountability, professional development, and helping prepare the next generation of licensed beauty professionals.
