ABOUT THE PERFORMING ARTS INDUSTRY PROGRAM (60 hrs)

Black Girl Beauty School of Careers welcomes students who are strong, self-motivated and fast paced learners who desire to learn, grow while making your audience laugh and feel good. The performing arts business is a recession free industry that’s wide open, with unlimited opportunities! 

The Performing Arts Industry course model 100% online through distance learning and utilizes both synchronous and asynchronous learning. This post-secondary education is for high school/GED graduates and prepares students for entrepreneurship and the workforce. The total hours to complete this course is 60 clock hours and includes one live, fully interactive, online class per week. Live classes are held on Wednesdays. Each class is 1 hour long and you can choose between very convenient morning or evening classes.

At The School of Performing Arts we consider your creative potential and commitment to the creative industries, not just your academic history. This is why admission to our career school is open to any individual who is seriously interested in the arts of modeling, acting and poetry, who meets all necessary entrance requirements. No previous experience is required.

At The School of Performing Arts we strive to support students through every phase of their education, graduation, and career placement. We offer this course in the traditional setting with online theory through distance learning/on campus, as well as 100% online.

OUR COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM WILL TEACH YOU TO:

FAQS – PERFORMING ARTS INDUSTRY

How do the online courses work?
After enrolling in a course, you will receive your login information within a few hours and then have one full year of on demand access to watch videos, take quizzes, and work on projects.

What art my payment options?
For each course, you can choose a one-time payment, or pay a deposit and balance in full prior to the start date. The one-time payment is the best deal.

Can I enroll in multiple courses?
Yes, you can! While participating in multiple programs, you can decide how to divide your work and focus throughout time of access, and as a student in multiple programs, you have special extension options if you need more additional time. 

Can I earn multiple university certificates?
Yes, you can! Once you have completed all coursework and payments for each certificate path you're enrolled in, you will receive your certificate of completion.

Can I get financial aid to attend performing arts school?
​Black Girl Beauty School of Careers currently do not offer financial aid. However, we do have payment plans available.

What does a performing arts certificate do?
Performing Arts Industry are able to offer services around the world, including fashion shows, beauty shows, modeling, acting, writing, performing, teaching, theatre work, stage manager, choreographer, costume designer, talent agent, a creative director and more.

Requirements for enrolling in Black Girl Beauty School of Careers:

Students must be at least 16 years of age.
Students must have a high school diploma/GED/High School Transcript with completion of the 10th Grade.
Students must provide a copy of Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, and Driver’s License.
Student's Must Complete Interest Form
Enrollment Fee of $150.00 Due at time of enrollment.

Tuition Loans and/or Payment Plans Are Available Through Our 3rd Party Loan Agencies After Initial Deposit Is Submitted​​

**All incoming students must attend an orientation which will be held on the 1st day of class. During orientation the student will learn about responsibilities and standards, the format of the program, the progression of the program, and how performance will be measured.
